Persons living with disability under the auspices of Atiku/Obi vision 4 Disabilities has pledged to galvanize and mobilize five million disabled persons within the country to vote the Peoples Democratic Party’s, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the forth coming general elections.
Speaking in Abuja on behalf of the group’s National Coordinator, Comrade Pat Igbiti, its spokesman, Hon Paul Danladi, said that with Atiku as President, Nigeria will be habitable for all especially those living with disability.
“Our main goal is to galvanize and mobilize Disabled persons eligible to vote to come out come February 16, Presidential elections and vote Atiku Abubakar because we believe that with Atiku as President, Nigeria will be habitable for us.
“In Nigeria today you wake up with fear of the unknown. It’s either rituals killings or kidnappings or insurgency etc. Even now we can see how the APC rallies are marred by violence, so imagine what will happen in the near future.
“I, Paul Danladi was the PDP Councillorship flag-bearer in the recent Plateau state local government elections representing Kombun ward and I know what I saw during that elections which I was declared winner by the Returning Officer but the APC led Administration declared the elections inconclusive and later rigged it their favour. So how can we return such party with no conscience and recourse and value for human life?
“I want the Nigerian citizens to know that in crises and clash situations, apart from the women and children, Disables are the most vulnerable.”
Speaking further, he therefore called on all stakeholders, associates, friends, well-wishers, brothers, organizations of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to initiate strategies that will ensure a hitch-free and certainly success in the forth coming Presidential elections.
