After several months of painstaking investigation, the EFCC is set to charge former National Intelligence Agency boss, Oke and his wife to court on Friday, 1st February, 2019. This is authoritative.
The two are to appear before Justice Aneke of the Federal High Court Lagos. Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal is also to be arraigned sometimes next week in Abuja.
According to the court papers in sighted exclusively by abujareporters, Babachir Lawal is facing an 8-count charge with five others including Namidu David Lawal, Suleiman Abubakar Apeh John Monday, Rholavision Engineering ltd, and Josmon Technologies ltd.
In the charge sheet number CR/158/19, the former SGF was alleged to have used his company to among others award contracts to Josmon Technologies worth 272,524,356 Naira which was executed by his own company Rholavision Engineering ltd. Another contract worth 258,132,735 was also awarded to the same Josmon Technologies but was executed by Rholavision where the former SGF is a director.
Both contracts were for ‘invasive plant species and plant irrigation which were awarded through the Presidential Initiative on the North East which operated though the SGF’s office.
